I'm a MSc Computer Science student at ETH Zürich, where I'm learning all about cybersecurity, system administration, and networking. My goal is to become a master in these fields and save the world from cyber threats, one server at a time. I'm excited to see where my journey takes me and hopefully, I'll be able to use my skills to prevent the next cyberpunk apocalypse.

Profile

As a computer science master's student at ETH Zürich, I've always had a passion for technology and cybersecurity. My curiosity has led me to constantly learn and expand my knowledge in the field, especially in system administration and networking. I graduated from Università degli Studi Roma TRE in July 2022, but my learning journey never stopped. I run my own home-lab with a personal server, where I get to experiment and deepen my understanding of the various concepts in the field. And let's just say, I never run out of things to learn and play with!

Work Experience

System Engineering Intern

March 2022 - July 2022

Bytewise Ltd.

I successfully set up a comprehensive cyber defense system for a small business. My expertise in installation and configuration of various network services and servers, including firewalls, proxies, reverse proxies, DNS, DHCP, VPN, IDS, and IPS, enabled me to provide a secure and stable network environment. I also managed hypervisors like Proxmox VE and ESXi, where I created virtual machines, LXC containers, and Docker containers to meet the business's needs. My experience with both RHEL and Debian-based distributions allowed me to handle any challenges that arose. To ensure the network's security, I also performed regular penetration testing using tools such as nmap, Metasploit, OpenVAS, and dirbuster.
